1. Who we are

AbroadLawyers.com is an independent attorney-client matching and legal-tech directory platform operated for the jurisdictions described on this site. We are not a law firm. Contact: info@abroadlawyers.com.

2. What we collect

When you submit a case brief or firm application we collect the data you provide: name, email, phone/messaging handle, jurisdiction, matter type, urgency, indicated transaction-value tier and your case description. We also collect standard technical logs (IP address, timestamps) for security and rate-limiting.

3. Why we use it

Solely to (a) match your brief with up to two vetted law firms and send you their proposals, (b) evaluate law-firm accreditation applications, and (c) keep the platform secure. We do not sell your data, ever. We do not share your brief with sellers, agents or developers.

4. Sharing with law firms

Your brief is shared only with the up-to-two vetted firms selected for your match. From the moment a firm receives your brief, its own professional confidentiality (attorney-client privilege under local law) governs the relationship.

5. Retention

Lead records are kept for up to 24 months to provide the service and handle disputes, then deleted or anonymized. You may request deletion at any time via the contact email.

6. Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion or portability of your data, and object to processing, by writing to info@abroadlawyers.com. EU/EEA users have the rights under the GDPR; we act on verified requests within 30 days.

7. Security

Submissions are transmitted over HTTPS, stored with access controls, and rate-limited against abuse. No system is perfectly secure; we minimize what we hold to reduce risk.

8. Cookies & analytics

This site uses no advertising cookies. If lightweight privacy-respecting analytics are enabled, they record aggregate page views without cross-site tracking.
